Windsor Park Programs

Seasonal Soccer

Youth soccer (up to U19) runs every summer (May-June).

More information can be found at SWEMSA.

Contact our soccer coordinator for details.

Fitness Classes

Windsor Park members, Sheela Hota-Mitchell (licensed Zumba/Zumba Gold/Zumba Kids instructor) and Bonnie Austen (AFLCA certified fitness instructor) lead hour-long classes designed for active older adults/beginner exercisers on Wednesdays at 1:30 pm (excluding summer months).

Improve your cardiovascular fitness and muscle/mobility/balance, while in the company of your neighbours.

Classes are by donation.

Partners In Parks (PIP)

A dedicated group of Windsor Park residents takes care of our North Park and environs, weeding, planting, and watering.

See the City of Edmonton site for details.

Contact our volunteers for more information and to help.

Urban Poling

Urban Poling will appeal to those who like to walk but want to enhance their fitness level. It is a great way to meet your neighbours and to explore Windsor Park and beyond.

For more information about joining this fun group, contact Bonnie Austen. Drop-ins welcome and poles may be provided/sourced for you.

WPCL Social Events

We run a wide variety of social events:

Edo talks (named after a longterm and respected WP resident, late Dr.Edo Nyland) are Ted-like talks given by our community members and colleagues.

Annual BBQ/Potluck and Membership Drive is held mid-September –get out and meet your league executive, join/renew your membership, and enjoy good food and friendship.

We also plan to hold pop-up events in the North Park, family-friendly movie nights at the hall, holiday-themed activities, and more.

Contact our Social Director for more information and to see how you can participate!
