Park Fundraiser Success

Thank You, Windsor Park!

The Love Our Park fundraiser was a huge success –  thanks to the amazing support of Windsor Park residents, we’ve raised more than $53,000!

The campaign was recently featured by Taproot Edmonton, highlighting the community effort behind preserving and improving North Park. 

Along with the park’s recent historic designation, community league and developer contributions, and City of Edmonton grants, the North Park improvements are now fully funded. Work is scheduled to begin this summer.

We’re so grateful to everyone who donated time, money, and expertise to help make this happen. This project truly reflects how much our community cares about North Park and its future.

The park will stay open during construction, although some areas will be temporarily closed while crews repair the historic retaining wall, expand the garden beds, improve water access, add new pathways, and install new park furniture. Thanks in advance for your patience while the work is underway.

Donations to the campaign are still welcome. Any additional funds will help cover unexpected cost increases, plants and mulch for the expanded gardens, and possibly even a new table for the park.

For 70 years, Windsor Park residents of all ages have enjoyed North Park. These improvements will help preserve and enhance this special space for current residents and future generations alike.
