New Neighbour – Connecting Families with Kids
From Windsor Park New Block Connector Mona:

Hi All!

I have a daughter who is very social and is 6 years old.  We would also love to connect with other kids/families in the area.

I keep meeting new families in the area which is wonderful.  A few of us were thinking of perhaps having a coffee/pastry or perhaps a picnic in the park so we can meet – perhaps in August.  If anyone has any ideas, I would love to connect about this.  I will try to figure it out in a few weeks.

In the interim, here is a facebook group to connect on:

4) Local Speed Limit Changes Coming – 40 km/hr

  • Lower speed limit for residential and collector roads:

The City is putting up some 40k speed limit signs but there won’t be a proliferation of signs because 40k will be the default speed limit on residential and collector roads once the speed reduction is fully implemented, expected in early August. A public education campaign may start prior.
